Model prices and cost estimates

Manage shared workspace prices and daily reference-price updates.

Clowld Space estimates costs from recorded tokens, public API reference prices and workspace overrides. Estimates for subscription accounts are not subscription bills or actual charges. Shared overrides and daily synchronization are included in stable releases starting with 1.1.3.

View and edit prices

In Web or Desktop, open a runtime's usage statistics and select Model prices. All workspace members can view prices; only owner and admin can edit them or request a refresh.

  1. Enter a model name or provider/model, then choose Add / view.
  2. Enter all four nonnegative rates: input, output, cache read and cache write, in USD per million tokens.
  3. Save to share prices across the current workspace's members and devices. Other workspaces are unaffected.
  4. Clear all four fields or remove the row, then save to restore reference pricing.

Models without a price still contribute token records but are excluded from cost totals. The page lists these models. Missing prices and a calculated zero cost are different states.

Updates and precedence

The server checks LiteLLM and models.dev reference data daily at 00:00 in the configured timezone. The editor shows the timezone and last successful update. Admins can select Check now; repeated requests are subject to a short cooldown.

Workspace overrides take precedence over reference prices, including alias resolution. Synchronization does not overwrite overrides. Failed updates retain the last usable catalog; bundled prices apply when no saved catalog exists.

Legacy prices and conflicts

If this browser or device has legacy local prices, an admin can preview and explicitly import them into the current workspace, then save. They are not automatically active or uploaded to every workspace.

If another admin saves first, your save reports a conflict. Discard drafts and reload before reapplying your changes. Other save failures retain your draft. A failed refresh does not mean prices were updated.

Restart the server after changes. Use a valid timezone such as Asia/Shanghai. These settings affect reference estimates, not provider billing. See runtimes and environment variables.
